Actor Viineet Kumar Siingh will have a busy February 2025 with two big releases on his calendar – Chhaava and Superboys of Malegaon. While the former releases on February 14, the latter movie is all set for a Bollywood release on February 28.
We say Bollywood because the film already premiered at the prestigious Toronto International Film Festival in 2024, and opened to huge praises for the cast as well as director Reema Kagti.
The official trailer of the film dropped today and is it the complete package or what? With splendid performances from the cast for comic timing or dramatic moments or even intense sequences.
Reema Kagti has once again not only picked the perfect cast, but also managed to extract career-best performances from the actors Adarsh Gourav, Viineet Kumar Siingh, Shashank Arora, Anuj Singh Duhan, and Riddhi Kumar.

Viineet Kumar Siingh plays a writer in this Reema Kagti directorial, which is inspired by the Supermen of Malegaon documentary of 2008. And doesn’t matter if it is a comic take or an intense and emotionally charged scene, Viineet has done them all to perfection.
A special mention to how he yells, “Writer baap hota hai”, a line that Viineet delivered with conviction, considering he is a writer himself. For those who are unaware, Viineet penned his critically acclaimed film Mukkabaaz. Clearly, this particular scene must have been very significant to the actor.
In fact, Viineet’s entire career trajectory has always been about taking up challenging roles that gave him the opportunity to refine his craft, learn and grow as an actor.
No matter the role, he has always risen up and delivered his best. And Superboys of Malegaon doesn’t seem any different.
