Chidambaram to work with Jithu Madhavan for his next
The New Year began with the exciting announcement that Chidambaram would be directing a film which will have Jithu Madhavan as a writer. Chidambaram is reportedly all set to work on this film next which will tell the tale of a small boy. Though the cast details have not been revealed, online portals say that the untitled film will feature several new faces.
Apart from the formidable director-writer duo of Chidambaram and Jithu Madhavan, the film is strong on the technical front too with Shyju Khaled roped in as the cinematographer, Sushin Shyam for composing the musical score, and Vivek Harshan will be the editor. The film will be backed by KVN Productions, marking their debut in Mollywood.
The makers had earlier released a poster of the film while announcing the project.
For the unversed, Chidambaram helmed the survival thriller Manjummel Boys which featured an ensemble cast, including Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Bhasi, and Balu Varghese, among others. The film was a phenomenal success even outside Kerala. On the other hand, Jithu Madhavan helmed Fahadh Faasil-starrer Aavesham which too became a rage among FaFa fans and expanded his fandom. Both directors have been able to leave an impression within a short time.

Chidambaram also working on a Bollywood project
Meanwhile, Chidambaram in a recent interview said that he is also working on the script for a Bollywood film, which will be backed by Phantom Studios. Chidambaram will be directing and writing the film. He also has a Hindi writer to help with the dialogues for the Bollywood project.
