This film is a remake of the 2022 Tamil romantic comedy, one of the most profitable films ever made in India.

Usually, several Bollywood movies are either inspired by Hollywood films or remakes of South Indian movies. Be it Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Kabir Singh, Jersey, or Drishyam, numerous Bollywood films have been remakes of South Indian hits. While some turned out to be massive successes, others failed to impress audiences. Similarly, another remake of a South Indian film is set to hit the big screens next month. This film is a remake of the 2022 Tamil romantic comedy, one of the most profitable films ever made in India. Interestingly, the Bollywood remake, releasing in February, has a special connection to Aamir Khan and the late actress Sridevi.
