The high octane action thriller ‘Marco’ directed by Haneef Adeni has been performing well at the box office for the last 25 days. Starring Mollywood actor Unni Mukundan in the lead role, the film has crossed Rs 100 crore mark on its 25th day worldwide, turning out to be a blockbuster hit.

According to a report by industry tracker Sacnilk, the film minted Rs 0.35 crore on its 25th day. The film has so far earned a domestic collection of Rs 68.50 crore gross while overseas collection stands at Rs 32 crore. As per reports, the worldwide collection of the film is now Rs 100.50+ crore.
Produced by Shareed Muhammed under the banner of Cubes Entertainment and directed, written by Haneef Adeni, the film is garnering praise for its violent scenes and stunts. The A-rated film is made with a budget of Rs 30 crore and also stars Siddique, Jagadish, Abhimanyu S Thilakan, and Kabir Duhan Singh in important roles. The Mollywood film’s music is composed by Ravi Basrur, and scenes are edited by Shameer Muhammed.
The calculated release of the film on December 20, 2024, i.e., before the beginning of holiday season brought favourable results at the box office. As per reports, it emerged as the highest-grossing A-rated Malayalam film of all time.

Unni Mukundan On Marco’s Violent Scenes
During a recent interview with HT, Marco’s lead star Unni commented on the hyperviolent scenes of the film. He said that what the movie shows is just 30% of what they wished to shoot and they are not trying to glorify it. “We have shot it aesthetically and tried to present it in a way that the audience can understand. Additionally, the audiences have matured and come a long way,” he said.
