VIDUTHALAI 2 TRAILER
India Today gave the film a 3-star rating. A section of the review read, “Viduthalai Part 2, directed by Vetri Maaran, is strong in its content. In short, it serves as a handbook to communism. The filmmaker simplifies the concept and presents it in a way that is easily understandable to a layman and people of today. Through Viduthalai 2, he asks the right questions and makes people think about who’s right and what is right.”
Speaking about his film’s OTT release, Vijay Sethupathi said in a statement, “I hope audiences globally can feel the same emotional and ideological resonance that we experienced during its creation when Parts 1 and 2 stream on Prime Video. This story might not be of a straight-cut hero, but the tale of his perseverance and courage deserves to be witnessed by the world.”
Viduthalai Part 2, along with Part 1, was screened at the International Film Festival Rotterdam. The films received a standing ovation at the screening.
